Vinoshipper Reaches Major Milestone

We are delighted to share a significant accomplishment: Vinoshipper now serves over 3,000 clients, each navigating the intricate landscape of beverage alcohol sales while adhering to federal and state regulatory frameworks. Our years of experience have sharpened our focus on key regulatory facets, encapsulated in the Vinoshipper-established ALTA framework – Age Verification, Licensing, Taxes, and Auditability.

Over the last 16 years Vinoshipper has adapted to the changing demands of the market but has remained true to its core competency of compliance.

In 2019, we became a Marketplace Facilitator and now hold that distinction in 38 states. This not only streamlines the complexities of sales tax collection and remittance for producers, but also reinforces our commitment to data transparency and state auditability.

Our dedication to regulatory compliance has been substantiated through meticulous audits. The latest, an excise, sales tax and business audit by Texas, which concluded, “the platform is handling its alcoholic beverage sales properly and following the rules of the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code and Rules.”

For fifteen years, we have been licensing beverage alcohol brands and selling those brands nationwide where legal direct shipping is allowed. This has helped thousands of clients establish and expand the reach of the brands they first created, and in some cases obtain wholesale distribution in new states. As well as being a leading compliance software business, we are a federally and state-licensed beverage alcohol business.

In this ever-evolving landscape, adherence to compliance underscores every facet of our operations. Our stance against illicit third-party shippers is unwavering, as we recognize the potential disruption they pose to legitimate Direct-to-Consumer operations.

Change is difficult, but modernization is inevitable, and Vinoshipper is committed to helping producers thrive and have brands reach new markets through direct sales.
